The Ella rock hike is an adventurous yet must-do thing in Ella. It’s about a 10 km hike which takes 3-4 hours, terrain is comparatively hard. Trek will take you through the Train track which is an exciting experience, if a train comes while you are on the track you just have to move out of the train track to the grass path & let the train pass you. After you pass the train tracks & enter the tea plantations to continue the hike through the beautiful tea plantation to the forest with tall grass & then you will reach the Famous Ella rock which is the hardest part of the trek due to the rocky terrain. Once you reach the viewpoint it is a fantabulous breathtaking view of the Ella mountain range. This experience is a must-do activity in Sri Lanka & on the bucket list of must of adventure lovers.
